The Computer Science Department Alumni Association, University of Kerala (COMSAAK), a strong and active association, was established in the year 2003 with an aim to keep the relationship between the department and the global alumni community.
• To maintain the contacts of the alumni with the Alma mater.
• To promote the relationship between the past and the present students of the department.
• To give an opportunity to the alumni to partake in both the academic and administrative growth of the department.
• To institute prizes and scholarships for the students of the department.
• To facilitate the students of the department for their projects and placements.
All the staff and students of the department shall be eligible to become members of the association.
• The Head of the Department shall be the President of the association.
• All past and present members of the teaching and technical staff of the department are honorary members of the association.
• All past students who pay the membership fee of Rs. 500/- shall be the ordinary members.
• Alumni get together
• Honoring alumni members in decennary and in their achievements.
• Technopark Chapter of the Alumni Association was started in the year 2016.
• Alumni members give financial support to the Education Aid fund managed by the department.
• Alumni from industries and other research organizations contribute their knowledge and skill to the students through various seminars and technical talks.
• Instituted Proficiency Awards and Memorial prizes for the meritorious students.
