M.Sc Computer Science
The M.Sc. (Computer Science) programme launched in 1989 is a 4-semester course comprehensively covering theoretical foundations of Computer Science, in addition to providing advanced practical skills. The programme is run under the credit and semester system introduced by the University in 1995, which provides for better flexibility in frequent updating of course-ware and also facilitates the students to choose subjects of their own liking. The total credit requirements for the M.Sc (Computer Science) course is 72 credits.
Eligibility
Candidates for admission to M.Sc (Computer Science) should have passed the B.Sc Degree in first class with not less than 60% marks in B.Sc Computer Science or B.Sc Electronics or an equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala for the purpose. Candidates who have already appeared for qualifying examination will also be allowed to apply for the above course, provided they produce the attested copies of marklists of all semesters or all years on or before a date announced by the Head of the Department of Computer Science.
